What is AB212?
AB212 was created through funding from the California Department of Education to the San Luis Obispo County Child Care Planning Council. The San Luis Obispo County program offers stipends to child care professionals who are employed in state funded child care programs, are pursuing an AA or BA degree in Early Care and Education or Child Development and meet specific eligibility qualifications.
How do I apply for a stipend?
Please check the eligibility guidelines to ensure you are eligible. If you determine that you meet the program requirements you may print and complete an AB212 Application and mail it to the Child Care Planning Council before October 4, 2011. All final documentation is due to the LPC office before 5:00 on April 19th.
