San Luis Obispo County Child Care Planning Council

Membership:

The Council consists of members who live and/or work within the county and are interested in the mission and vision of the Council. Every effort is made to ensure the composition of the Council represents the ethnic, racial and geographic distribution of the population of the County as a whole to ensure diverse representation.

Council membership must represent the following categories:

20% child care providers

20% community representatives

20% consumers of child care

20% public agency representatives

20% discretionary appointments

All interested parties are encouraged to attend the Council’s monthly meeting or to apply for membership in the Council.

Meetings currently occur on the first Wednesday of each month at the San Luis Obispo County Office of Education from 3 to 5 pm. For information, please call 782-7285.
